On October 9, 2009, I served on a panel with Susie Morgan, Suzie Stinson and Jerry Edwards in connection with a program titled State Uniform Rules and Motion Practice Update. This was one of thirteen hours of continuing legal education offered at the annual Recent Developments By The Judiciary, hosted by the Shreveport Bar Association.
Our panel primarily focused on Title II Civil Proceedings and addressed the most important rules as they apply to civil motion practice and we addressed the proposed amendments to be considered by the Supreme Court of Louisiana later this year or early 2010.
